A Collaboration with Asia’s Best Pastry Chef, Janice Wong
“I am honoured to work with the professional team behindCOBO HOUSE by 2am:dessertbar. They are full of passion and I believe the huge dessert-loving crowd in Hong Kong will revel in our creativity. Here, I will continue to push boundaries between sweet and savory with carefully researched progressive dishes. I am very excited about the new opening as I will be able to design new sweet and savory dishes with the team,” Janice Wong, says.
Menu will focus on desserts at the opening phase. Proudly boasting a dessertbar table, sweet-tooth can witness without distance how our dessert chefs conjure up desserts that are all plated à la minute, delivering an intimate “chef to guest” experience. Dessert items will change according to seasons. Currently, 10 sweet creations are at guests’ disposal. Contemporary work includes Chocolate H2O ($128) – an edible art inspired by the dead corals at San Sebastian coast, it features an aerated frozen chocolate and is as beautiful as it is delectable. Cassis Plum ($138) is an illustrious dessert that had appeared in Master Chef Australia in 2015 as contestant’s pressure test. Starring a combination of several different textures, they form a fine balance between sourness and sweetness.
